Expect some traffic disruptions if you are driving down Lakeshore Drive today.
The need to dig up the city's busiest roadway is caused by a water service repair that will mean a lane closure at 157 Lakeshore Dr. according to Steve Cundari,
Operations Supervisor with the Water and Sewer Department.
"The southbound lanes at 157 Lakeshore Drive will be closed for a water service repair. Southbound traffic will be diverted into the northbound centre lane and northbound traffic will continue on the curb lane," Cundari says in a news release.
"We expect the repair to take approximately 11 hours, from approximately 7 a.m. to 6: p.m. We ask that drivers slow down going through the construction zone and exercise caution."
