Top 10 front yard gardens revealed

The North Bay Master Gardeners are responsible for selecting first, second and third place from the top 10

North Bay Blooms Chair Tanya Vrebosch, with the help of the North Bay Horticultural Society judges, announces this summer's top 10 front yard gardens from almost 80 nominations received this summer.

"Our local gardeners faced a lot of challenges with a cold wet spring and even the deer seem to be more voracious this summer enjoying hostas and lilys all around town," said Vrebosch. "Nonetheless there are still a lot of beautiful gardens around town and we look forward to announcing first place later this week.”

In no particular order, the top 10 front yard gardens, as selected by the North Bay Horticultural Society judges, are ;

  • Doris Dudgeon, 1254 Maher,
  • Brenda Holbein, – 854 Wyld St.,
  • Poala Castiglione – 65 Mulligan St.,
  • Norman Bertrand – 136 Gladstone,
  • Richard & Kerry Woodward  – 145 Lake Heights,
  • Jim & Mary Randle  – 209 Reginald Rd.,
  • MaryAnn Kendrick  – 207 Ski Club Rd.,
  • Colleen Winterstein – 9 Lakeview,
  • Stella Sinclair – 1614 Jane St.,
  • Val Russell – 6 Kathryn Crescent.

The North Bay Master Gardeners are responsible for selecting first, second and third place from the top ten and we expect to hear their final selections shortly.
