Three arrested in local park stabbing

An 18-year old male was physically assaulted, stabbed and robbed of the marijuana he had pre-arranged to sell to the accused.

There's been a break in that stabbing and robbery story we told you about two weeks ago.

As a result of the investigation, which included the execution of a search warrant and a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant on Saturday December 5th, North Bay Police arrested and charged the following three people.

Dustan Trevor Lee Tessier, age 19, of North Bay was charged with:

  • one count of robbery with violence;
  • one count of assault with a weapon;
  • one count of aggravated assault; and
  • one count of possession of marijuana.

Stuart Parker Olimer Nichols, age 19, of North Bay was charged with:

  • one count of robbery with violence;
  • one count of possession of marijuana; and
  • one count of breach of probation.

A 17-year old male was charged with:

  • one count of robbery with violence;
  • one count of assault with a weapon;
  • one count of aggravated assault; and
  • one count of possession of marijuana.

Police say that at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday November 25th, at Ferris Lions Park on Massey Drive, an 18-year old male was physically assaulted, stabbed and robbed of the marijuana he had pre-arranged to sell to the accused.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Tessier and the 17-year old male were held in custody for bail, while Nichols was released from custody with a court date scheduled for January 19th.

The attack happened when an 18-year old North Bay male was on the pathway leading from Lions Park to West Ferris Secondary when two males jumped and stabbed him. Money was removed from the victim's wallet. The wallet was then left at the scene.
