Stabbing and robbery in local park

City police are investigating a report of a stabbing and robbery that took place at approximately 10:11 p.m. last night at Ferris Lions Park just off Massey Drive.

An 18-year old North Bay man was on the pathway leading from Lions Park to West Ferris Secondary School when two unknown men jumped and stabbed him.

Money was stolen from the victim’s wallet.

The wallet was then left at the scene as the attackers fled.

The victim was injured and transported to hospital for treatment.

One of the two suspects is described as a white male, 6’0 tall, wearing a dark coat, dark pants and a dark toque.
