A Canadore College student faces charges after being accused of uttering threats to another student on campus Friday.
Following an investigation into a complaint reported to police on Friday afternoon, North Bay Police arrested and charged Joseph Latimer-Chant, age 22, of Portland, Ontario with one count of uttering threats and three counts of breaching probation.
He was held in custody and is scheduled to attend court for a bail hearing today.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, North Bay Police responded to 248 calls that resulted in 17 arrests.
Offences included public intoxication; domestic assault; mischief; impaired driving; criminal harassment; theft under $5000; utter threats; drug trafficking; warrants and breaches.
