If you want to see action ‘so hot it will peel the pavement’ then don’t miss the 9th Annual Power Play for Easter Seals Kids presented by Pembridge Insurance at East Side Mario’s on Lakeshore this weekend!

On Sunday, September 18th, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, East Side Mario’s parking lot will be transformed into a street-hockey stadium. Teams from the North Bay community will leave the workplace to face off against their rivals in this 4-on-4, street-hockey tournament in support of children, youth and young adults with physical disabilities. Watch the teams demonstrate their team spirit by wearing wacky team themed costumes!

Spectators and players will enjoy a day of hockey fun, great food, great prizes and good-old-fashioned rivalries. Opening ceremonies are at 10:45 am with Neil Melnyk, an Easter Seals child, and Cory Potter, an Easter Seals young adult and Coach of the Ladies in Flight team, set to participate in the ball drop. Pembridge Insurance representative, Cathy McCutcheon, will also be on hand to make the presenting sponsorship cheque presentation.

Join the teams and help score big for local Easter Seals kids, youth and young adults with physical disabilities!
