These cuties could really use a home

All Heart Pet Rescue has stepped up to the plate again.

The rescue has taken in three dogs from a back yard breeder who suddenly realized breeding isn’t all she thought it would be. As well they have taken on four other dogs, via the Quinte Humane Society, who were part of another breeding kennel that was busted for having too many dogs.

Kathy Jeanneault says all the dogs are doing well and slowly gaining confidence. All of their vaccines, grooming, baths, nails, ears, parasite prevention have all been taken care of.

“Now we have to raise enough funds to have these seven critters fixed.”

Jeanneault estimates the approximate cost to be about $270 for each procedure. Then she will adopt them out for 200.00 each.

“What a deal,” She says.

"I work hard to assure that the animals are healthy and rehabilitated, it’s not about the money, believe me!"

All Heart is currently taking applications online at [email protected] for these darlings.

Everyone is welcome to visit all the dogs up for adoption, or walk a dog, and/or drop off a donation during the regular Open House every Sunday between 12-3pm.

Some of the breeds currently at All Heart include: Snauzer mixes, Minature poodle, Jack Russell Terrier and Shitzu/Jack Russell mixes.

The larger dogs include: German Shepherd, Beagle, Walker Hound, Keeshond mix, and many more.
