Following a gruelling round of Fire Marshal of Ontario exams Randy Vezina was officially promoted to the position of Chief Fire Prevention Officer today.

Following a gruelling round of Fire Marshal of Ontario exams Randy Vezina was officially promoted to the position of Chief Fire Prevention Officer today.

With the exception of the odd round of congratulations from co-workers at City Hall and a card from mom and dad, the transition was a quiet one as Vezina has been in the role of Acting Fire Inspector for several months.
