Tee off's begin!

The golf season is officially here in the North Bay area.  

While driving ranges have been open for almost a week, both Osprey Links and Pinewood Park Golf Course had their first golfers tee off the season around the lunch hour on Wednesday.  

“We are super excited, we have had a couple of really great days of weather, we are trying to forget last week when it snowed,” said Osprey Links General Manager Jeff Rogerson. 

“Maybe Spring is here and Summer is not far behind.  In terms of conditions though we are miles ahead," added Rogerson who believes they are opening about a week behind the typical season opening date.   

Other courses are in the region are still a fews days away from an opening. 

Highview Golf Course in Powassan is estimating May 8th as opening day.
