The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference has accepted Ontario Northland’s offer to return to the bargaining table. Negotiations are scheduled to resume on the afternoon of Monday, December 3, 2007.

“We invited Teamsters, which represents our striking motor coach operators, back to the table as we are anxious to resolve this dispute in the interests of our passengers and employees,” said Beverly Martin, Chief Communications Officer with Ontario Northland. “We look forward to returning to negotiations on Monday and hope that we can reach an agreement in order to resume motor coach operations in time for the holiday season.”

Ontario Northland has invited striking motor coach operators back to the negotiations table. A written invitation was extended to the chief negotiator for the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference, representing Ontario Northland’s 50 striking motor coach operators, on November 30, 2007.

“With the interests of our customers in mind, we have invited Teamsters representatives back to the table in the hope that we can reach an agreement and resume motor coach operations in time for the holiday season,” said Beverly Martin, Chief Communications Officer with Ontario Northland.
