West Nipissing is taking steps to fight suicide next Wednesday at 10:a.m. at Minhaha Bay.
It's the second annual Lighting of the Flame of Hope to mark World Suicide Prevention day.
Guest speakers who will be there to talk about their experiences with suicide and Mayor Joanne Savage will be there to light the flame.
The flame will be lit for the entire week at Minhaha Bay.
There is also a "safeTALK" that evening as well for community members.
