The Gateway of the North must be getting a reputation for warm welcomes, but chilly receptions.

Chair of the North Bay Refugee Committee Stu Kidd says the group is scheduled to arrive at 9:45 a.m.
The Maem family includes six members, including both parents and four children--- three boys and a girl aged between 11 and 16.
This family is originally from Aleppo, in North Syria, although they have been in a refugee camp in Lebanon.
The committee is not sure how much English they speak, although there is reference to some ability among family members.
