The airport recorded 46.1 mm of rain, which smashes the old record of 23.4 set back in 1962.

The North Bay Mattawa Conservation Authority issued a possible flood warning yesterday.

At least the cold wasn’t a problem though, with the high of 19 being about average for this time of year.

The average low is 8, but we’ll be seeing colder temps than that in the next few days.

Tonight the temperature will drop down to just 3, while Saturday night will drop to zero.

But be glad you’re not in Alberta, some parts had 35 cm of snow.

Environment Canada says since records were kept, North Bay has never experienced snow on September 10th.
