Province approves funding for Midwives

Funding is being provided to VON – North Bay to support the local hiring of midwives, Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli announced today.



VON- North Bay is receiving $702,000 to support the hiring of five New Registrant Midwives by midwifery practice group they manage.



This is one-time funding is for the 2013-14 funding year.



“I want to thank VON – North Bay for their continued dedication to providing needed and quality health services in our communities,” said Fedeli.
