Police think they've solved string of Break-ins

There's been a rash of break-ins over the past week and today police announced an arrest has been made.

Yesterday, after an ongoing police investigation, the North Bay Police street crime unit arrested a man in connection to several break and enters in the city over the past week.

Charged is Jeffry Allan Parker, 45, of North Bay with:

  • 13 counts of break and enter
  • 5 counts of breach of recognizance

Parker was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Meanwhile, police reported another pair of break-ins over the last couple of days.

This morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. someone did break and enter the Parkside Animal Hospital, located at 6 Lakeshore Dr.

Entry was gained by prying open a rear door.

And between yesterday and today, someone broke into a home in the 800 block of Amelia St, by forcing open a door. The residence had been ransacked and numerous personal belongings were taken.
