Police auction coming up this weekend

All proceeds from the Service’s public auctions go to the North Bay Police Service Board, which in turn uses the funds to provide donations to local charities and events.

The North Bay Police Service will host its annual public auction in the rear parking lot of police headquarters on Saturday May 21st, 2016.

Preview time:  8 a.m.

Auction time:   9 a.m.

Location:         Police headquarters, 135 Princess Street West (rear parking lot, accessible from Victoria Street West)

Seized, Abandoned and Found Items

Throughout the year, the North Bay Police Service will seize property items, such as tools, clothing and jewelry, as a result of criminal investigations. As well, members of the public will regularly report abandoned items, such as bicycles, or they will bring in found items to police headquarters.

The North Bay Police Service disposes of property items that are not claimed by their owners on an annual basis by way of a public auction.

Northern Auction Sales is under contract with the North Bay Police Service to auction property items to the general public on the Service’s behalf. All items are sold "as is." The North Bay Police Service does not inspect, warrant or guarantee any of the items sold.
