Police and McDonald’s Team Up for Bicycle Safety

On July 4, 2013 Deputy Chief Devine and Cst. Steve Sproule of the Community Oriented Response (COR) Unit meet with McDonald’s owner Brad Haines to receive 400 coupons for free ice cream.

The COR Unit will hand out these coupons throughout the summer while on Bicycle Patrol to area youth who are seen wearing their helmets in order to promote bicycle safety.
