PODCAST: BayToday reporter discusses recent investigative work

'It's a troublesome thing, to me, to have taxpayer dollars knowingly go to business interests that have a habit of not always paying their bills ... We make deals with the wrong people. We trust the wrong people with our government money, and with our own money to do things either they are not capable of or never intend to do'

In the Echo Essentials Podcast clip above, BayToday reporter Stu Campaigne joins hosts Scott Clark and Dave Dale. The local media veterans take a deeper dive into recent BayToday investigative journalism pieces Campaigne wrote about a movie studio that failed within two years of its launch — laying off 44 employees in the process — and another about a property in Trout Creek that is home to a seniors' residence and is now up for sale for unpaid municipal taxes.
