North Bay has a rich history of radio broadcasters and on Friday September 26th, one of the best returns to AM 600 CKAT.

Whether it was sports reporting on CFCH and CKAT for over 3 decades, play by play on North Bay Centennials games, his folk music show "The Ashgrove", or his countless interviews with newsmakers around the world, Peter Handley's voice is instantly recognizable and has been missing for far too long on commercial radio in North Bay.

"We've always wanted to have an opinion piece on CKAT, and who better to do that than a man who still has his finger on the pulse of what is happening in our community and in the country. Whether it was local politics, or news stories, or life issues, or of course sports, Pete always had a unique perspective on these topics, and now he'll have a venue to voice these opinions. I personally can't wait to hear Peter Handley back on our radio station again," says Peter McKeown General Manager, AM 600 CKAT

The debut edition of Pete's Perspective can be heard this Friday September 26th at 7:55am and then again that afternoon at 3:50pm.

The feature will run regularly on Mondays and Fridays at 7:55am and 3:50pm.
