OPP locate missing Toronto man

Sudbury - The 83-year old man from Etobicoke, ON was reported missing to the West Parry Sound OPP Detachment on July 1st, 2007 when he was last heard from by cell phone at 6:30 p.m.

Officers from West Parry Sound OPP, Sudbury OPP along with members of the OPP Emergency Response Team, the OPP helicopter and K9 Unit have been actively searching for this man.

This morning at 8:15 a.m. the OPP K9 Unit located Mr. Zygmund GRYSIEWICZ, in his vehicle, off Highway 69, just south of the Highway 537 intersection in Secord Township. Mr. GRYSIEWICZ is not injured and in good health but was taken to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Sudbury where he will be treated and released and returned to his family down south.

West Parry Sound - OPP are looking for an 83 year old missing man from Etobicoke. The man was reported missing last evening, last heard from by cell phone at 6:30 p.m. He was driving a red 2004 Chevy Blazer towing a yellow utility trailer. Originally it was believed that he was in a collision south of Parry Sound on Hwy 400. New information indicates that he may also be in the area of Sudbury, possibly off Hwy 69.

Mr. Grysiewicz is described as 83 years old, white, 5'10", medium build, balding grey hair, wearing grey pants and a red shirt. He suffers from slight paralysis, however is in good health.

OPP resources continue to follow up all leads.

West Parry Sound - OPP are looking for an 83 year old missing man from Etobicoke. The man was reported missing last evening, last heard from by cell phone at 6:30 p.m. He was driving a red Chevy Blazer towing a yellow utility trailer reported to be on Hwy 400, approximately 20 kms south of Parry Sound. He reported that he had been in an accident off of the highway and was in the ditch. He was enroute to the Snug Harbour area.

Mr. Grysiewicz is described as a 83 years old, white, 5'10", medium build, balding grey hair, wearing grey pants and a red shirt. He suffers from slight paralysis, however is in good health.

Patrol cars continue to search and the OPP helicopter will be searching the areas of Hwy 400 and Hwy 11 and beyond.
