Officer Assaulted

On Saturday, November 4, 2006 police were requested to attend a disturbance at a North Bay residence. Once inside police tried to speak with a male when he suddenly lunged at one of the officers, tackling him to the floor. The Taser was successsfully deployed and the man was taken into custody.

37-year-old Frederick Trottier was charged with assault police and held in custody. He will appear in court November 6, 2006
