The folks at WHIZ KIDZ on Oak inform BayToday that traffic is restricted to one lane at the intersection of Oak and Fraser, and it opens back up to two lanes about 100 feet after that. Drivers should expect delays and closures as the week progresses.

Reports indicate that Oak Street will be closed this week due to construction.

The closure starts today (Tuesday) at Algonquin and Fraser. Shoppers will have access to Oak street businesses just follow the detour signs.

Officials anticipate having the street open again on Saturday.
