TWG Communications was recently awarded a Silver at the Summit Creative Awards.

The award is in recognition for creative materials designed and produced by TWG for Écho Boréal, a translation and linguistic instruction service offered by the West Nipissing campus of Collège Boréal.

The Summit Creative Awards were created over10 years ago to celebrate the accomplishments of smaller creative companies throughout the world.

The Awards are open to advertising, public relations, video production, multimedia agencies, and other related firms with annual billings of less than $15 million.

Entries in 17 creative categories are judged against a stringent set of standards. Judges looked for innovative and creative concepts, strong executions and the ability to
communicate and persuade.

This year's competition received approximately 3,000 entries from 20 countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, India, Italy, Kuwait, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, The Netherlands, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, and West Indies.

“It is a great honour to be recognized by such a highly respected organization and to be selected from a pool of talented agencies from around the world. This reinforces the fact that the creative work developed in Northern Ontario measures up with competitors in larger urban centres and is on-par with global standards,” stated TWG partner and VP Creative, William Ferguson.

“The fact that we won for our work with a great client like Écho Boréal, is simply the icing on the cake,” added partner and VP Accounts, Theo Margaritis.

Winners are selected in a number of categories including: print, broadcast, online advertising, multimedia, printed materials, direct mail, sales promotions, political,
corporate video, public service, best idea never produced and self-promotion.
