A downtown party turned violent Saturday after someone was attacked with a metal broom handle.
Police say that at around 9 p.m. during a party held in a downtown home, an argument between a man and a male victim known to him, turned violent when the man assaulted the victim with a metal broom handle.
The victim required emergency medical treatment for his non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack.
Police arrested the man at his home shortly thereafter.
North Bay Police have charged Clayton Hugh Fuller, age 31, of North Bay with:
- one count of assault with a weapon; and
- one count of breach of probation.
Fuller was later released from custody with a court date scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th.
