Man goes berserk

On Thursday the 11th of Oct. shortly after 1 PM it is alleged that a man attended the Children’s Aid Society in North Bay and went berserk.

It is furthered alleged that this man assaulted one of the workers on scene and was damaging the interior of the premises.

He was located outside of the building by Csts. Andre Berube and Anthony Corrente of the North Bay Police and began to fight with the officers.

He was arrested and brought to Police Headquarters.
Yvon Pierre PHILION 51 years old of Mill St. in Cache Bay is charged with Mischief, Causing a Disturbance, Assault and Assault With Intent to Resist Arrest. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
