A 42 year old North Bay man attended court this morning to answer to a charge of theft under $5000 at which time he was referred by the Crown to the Direct Accountability Counsellor for a possible diversion.
While talking to the counsellor a baggie containing 2 small rocks of what is believed to be crack cocaine fell out of his pocket.
He was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine.
He is scheduled to appear in court on the 31st Dec 2013.
