There has been one new fire reported in the East Fire Region within the last 24 hours. The fire was reported in Sault Ste. Marie district at 0.1 hectares and has already been called out.

The forest fire hazard throughout the East Fire Region is low due to the recent wet weather.
Regardless of the fire hazard always check your site before you light. Take a walk around the area; dry, crunchy vegetation can be an indication of a localized dry pocket.
