Ice Follies 2016 is the sixth biennial festival of site-specific artwork on frozen Lake Nipissing, just off King's Landing, rooted in artist-run culture and community arts engagement.
The festival runs from Saturday February 13 - 28th.
An Ice Follies 2016 Opening Reception and Performance is being held.

"Join us at Marathon Beach for the official opening of Ice Follies 2016, with warm refreshments and interactive art installations from artists spanning the country. Watch the frozen lake come alive with a special performance of Serpent People by Aanmitaagzi Storymakers, fusing dance, theatre and large-scale puppets," says a news release from the group.
