The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is confirming that two members of the White Woods school community tested positive for COVID-19 last week while schools were closed and students were online learning.
The Health Unit believes there is no need for the school community to panic.
"There is no risk to the White Woods school community and the individuals are self-isolating at home," a Health Unit release late Tuesday afternoon stated.
White Woods school is located in West Nipissing.
The North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit added two new cases today bringing the region's total up to 179.
