Grocery fight escalates to violence

A Parry Sound man faces charges after police were called to a domestic fight in that town yesterday. OPP say the couple returned to their Bay Street home from shopping, and began to argue while putting away groceries.

A Parry Sound man faces charges after police were called to a domestic fight in that town yesterday.

OPP say the couple returned to their Bay Street home from shopping, and began to argue while putting away groceries.

The argument escalated to physical violence and property was damaged.

A 20 year old male was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Assault – Spousal.
  • Mischief – Domestic.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on February 19.
