Fire Chief for the day 2009

The folks at North Bay Fire & Emergency Services are pleased to introduce their 2009 'Fire Chief for the Day," Nathan Faber-Good.

Faber-Good is a grade 6 student from Sunset Public School on Lakeshore Drive and was selected for the top spot as the result of his winning poster from our fire safety poster contest during Fire Prevention Week.

"On Friday Nathan was treated to his own bunker gear, a ride to the fire station in a fire truck, a tour of stations 1 and 2 and lunch with the crew. As well as, a mountain bike courtesy of Wal-Mart," notes Public Education Officer Sheri Korn.

"Nathan appeared quite comfortable filling the shoes of 'Fire Chief' and his office and chair for that matter."
