Dionne sisters' health concerns will not allow birthday visit

The Dionne Quints Heritage Board is extending its best wishes to Annette Dionne, who will not attend the 89th Birthday Event at the Dionne Quints Museum as planned, due to recent health concerns.

The celebration will continue, with a taped video presentation by Annette and will take place at the Dionne Quints Museum on Sunday, May 28. The opening of the museum's season will be on May 26, ahead of the birthday festivities. 

After some initial optimism Annette would be well enough to make the trip to North Bay, it turns out neither she nor Cecile, the two surviving Dionne sisters, will make the trip due to health considerations.

The Dionne Quints Heritage Board had recently initiated a fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of Annette's visit to North Bay.
