CSPNE select board president and vice presidents

The Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l'Ontario (CSPNE) held its inaugural meeting and its third regular meeting of the school year on December 4 and 5, 2009, in Timmins.

At the inaugural meeting, Board members elected their president and vice presidents.

Mr. Robert Poirier was re-elected president, Mr. David Bernotas was elected vice president for the Northern region, and Mrs. Michelle Piette was elected vice president for the Southern region.

In addition, The Board received the 2008/2009 annual report, a document that bears witness to the very wide range of activities undertaken by the CSPNE over the previous school year. A copy of this document will be available by January 31, 2010 on the Board's Web site.
Board members also gave a warm welcome to Mr. Roch Gallien who was attending his first Board meeting. Mr. Gallien was appointed Director of Education on November 30, 2009.
