Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, Dead After Stingray Attack

Australian crocodile hunter Steve Irwin has died in a freak marine accident at the age of 44.

Reports early Monday indicated the popular television and film personality was filming an underwater documentary in Australia when he was attacked by a stingray whose barb went through his chest.

Irwin leaves behind his wife, Terri and two young children.
