Nicky Ouellette appeared at North Bay city council Monday night again asking for answers to when Hwy 11 four-laning will be completed. The city will send letters to the province asking for a completion date, and whether Hwy 69 four-laning has taken precedent over Hwy 11.

City council has denied a request from Nordfibre to lower the tipping fees it will have to pay when it demolishes its former plant and hauls the scrap to the Merrick landfill site. Coun. Mike Anthony moves to have the matter reconsidered in two weeks.

The city has approved more land sales of its surplus property, adding about $325,000 to its municipal reserves.
