Gotta give the cops credit on this one.

On August 28, shortly after 11 p.m., OPP were called to a local restaurant in the City of Elliot Lake.

A drunk man was trying to drive away while employees and patrons of the restaurant were trying to prevent him from leaving.

When police arrived at the parking lot of the restaurant they gave the intoxicated man the opportunity to take a cab.

He refused.

Police asked for his car keys to prevent him from driving.

He refused.

Patiently, police gave him another opportunity to call a cab.

He refused.

As a result, Zbigniew Rzadkosz, 51, from Elliot Lake was arrested and charged with "Being Intoxicated in a Public Place"

Rzadkosz slept it off at the local detachment's Crowbar Hotel until he was sober.
