City police warn of health inspection phone scam

The North Bay Police Service would like to remind local restaurants that there is a health inspection phone scam being conducted throughout the Province.

A local restaurant received a call last Friday where they were asked for personal information and that a Health Inspection would take place in a few days. A subsequent phone call is received giving the restaurant a Pin#.

If any owner or operator of a food business receives a similar call, contact your local police service.
