City Police tipped off in kidnapped baby case

On Thursday the 1st of Nov. the North Bay Police Service received a tip in regards to an amber alert that had been issued out of Sudbury.

This tip consisted of a possible sighting of the baby in question at a grocery store on McKeown Av. Officers were assigned to investigate this tip.

Later at 6 PM our Service received another tip from the North Bay General Hospital in regards to a suspicious call they had earlier received.

Acting Sgt. Jeff Warner and Acting S. Sgt. Shawn Devine of our Service began to investigate further through our records and provided a suspect name to the Sudbury Regional Police Service.
