City police gearing up for implementing the Lock It or Lose program

The Lock It or Lose It Program is a province-wide crime prevention program which is intended to create awareness to vehicle and home owners on how to protect themselves from becoming a victim or property crime.

The program encouraged people in securing their vehicles and homes at all times and also not leave any valuables in plain view inside their unattended vehicles regardless if it is during the day or at night.

Sometime next week, the North Bay Police Service will again be implementing the Lock It or Lose Program, focussing mostly on residential areas which have been victimized by theft from vehicle incidents and break and enter incidents during this past year.
