Classes start tomorrow at Canadore College, and nearly 150 students moved into residence this week with another 300 students moving in this Labour Day long weekend.

Residence is hosting an early orientation week for registered learners, filled with information sessions, including cooking classes, sexual consent awareness, community and campus tours, as well as physical activities like Zumba, yoga, kickboxing and more.

Canadore Students’ Council (CSC) has planned another comprehensive student-driven frosh and orientation week. More than 350 students have signed up for activities like an outdoor concert, a city-wide scavenger hunt, a cruise on the Chief Commanda, country carnival and the annual Shinerama fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis and more.

Classes begin on September 6 and students are relocating to North Bay to study at Canadore from nearly 400 communities across Canada and 15 countries around the globe.
