The mall is bustling with activity. Many of the empty stores at Northgate Shopping Centre have now been filled by holiday pop up stores.

Northgate Shopping Centre is the biggest mall in North Bay with 90 stores, and is located off the Highway 11/17 bypass.

Emily Gauthier, Marketing Manager at Northgate Shopping Centre, believes many stores owners are glad to see the people back.

"The traffic is definitely picking up the closer we get to Christmas," said Gauthier.

Gauthier believes, for the most part, people are starting to get more comfortable with in mall shopping again.

"We brought in many awesome pop-up stores for the holiday season we hope everyone will come to check out," she said.

And the store owners are glad to see the people back too.
