On Saturday June 27, 2009 while conducting speed enforcement on Hwy #11 Perry Twp, Almaguin Highlands OPP officers observed a 2006 BMW in the northbound lanes travelling at a speed of 164 km/hr in a posted 100km/hr zone.
The driver, Michael KRAMAR (26) of Toronto was given a court date of 23 July 2009 in Sundridge ON. Kramar’s vehicle was impounded for 7 days and his driver’s licence was also suspended for 7 days.

The following is a list of Highway Traffic Act offences under sec 172(1) that will cause a person to be summoned to court, have their vehicle impounded for 7 days and their drivers licence suspended for 7 days by MTO.

• Race a motor vehicle
• Perform a stunt ( all tires not in contact with highway )
• Causing tires to loose traction
• Spin or circle without control
• Going into the oncoming traffic portion of the highway
• Person in trunk
• Driver not in driver’s seat
• Speeding by 50km/hr or more
• Prevent passing
• Stop or slow to interfere with another vehicle
• Too close to vehicle/pedestrian/object
• Turn left from red light before oncoming traffic
