Be careful if driving south tomorrow

Rainfall warnings may be issued if a more significant event of widespread 50 mm or more appears more certain.

A raincoat may also be a good idea.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for southern Ontario tomorrow afternoon. You'll likely hit heavy rain as you approach the Huntsville area.

A significant widespread rainfall is expected beginning Tuesday morning or afternoon and ending Tuesday night. Rainfall amounts will range from 25 to 40 mm in most places but a few areas may see higher amounts up to 60 mm.

The system responsible for this rainfall is a slow-moving low pressure system from Texas.

Rainfall warnings may be issued if a more significant event of widespread 50 mm or more appears more certain.
