Arrest made in Dolphin Motel investigation?

Yesterday morning, officers taped off an area surrounding the door of the hotel room, and by early afternoon the Forensics Unit had set up a tent in front of the door

A source tells BayToday that an arrest was made early this morning in the police investigation into a death at the Dolphin Motel at 549 Lakeshore Drive.

The source indicates a murder charge will be laid against a North Bay man, and the victim was a man, thought to be living at the motel.

Police have still not released any official details of the investigation.

Police said there was no threat to the public, but provided no other details.

A worker at the site said he had been told there had been a death inside,

BayToday requested an update from police this morning.

"The investigation into this incident is ongoing. There is no threat to public safety. We will provide an update later today," replied spokesman David Woolley.
