After a trio of grass fires near downtown on Wednesday night, firefighters were busy in West Ferris putting out a grass fire near Summit Drive in the bush.

Firefighters were working to put out the blaze around 7 p.m.

No word on the cause but witnesses told BayToday.ca they believed it was started by some teenagers.

Last night two North Bay men used their feet to stomp out a grass fire that broke out near the overpass.
