A popular burger restaurant is returning to Lakeshore Drive in North Bay, this time a little further south.
Burger King restaurant officially opened on Wednesday afternoon
Mayor Al McDonald was on hand to welcome the new business owners.
"In speaking with Burger King representatives, they told me what attracted them to North Bay was our story of growth, record construction and culture of being open for business," said McDonald via social media.

The new Burger King will share the parking lot with Popeyes Chicken which is scheduled to open on September 28.
A Quesada restaurant is also still under construction at the location.
Burger King used to have a restaurant in the 100 block of Lakeshore Drive, now the site of a CUPE office.
That Burger King location closed more than 12 years ago.
Burger King returned in August of 2020 at a site located near the new casino on Pinewood Park Drive in North Bay.
