Annual food drive underway

The 'Annual Fall Food Drive', which is hosted by our friends at EZ Rock in conjunction with the Kinsmen Club and NO FRILLS, in benefit of the North Bay Food Bank is underway.

The beginning of a very taxing season on the food bank is just beginning and they require the public’s help to stock the shelves to help the see them through from now till Christmas.

100.5 EZ Rock in co-operation with The Kinsmen Club and NO FRILLS have joined forces once again for the Annual Fall Food Drive.

Wednesday, October 24th, EZ Rock will be live on location from 6am to 6pm at Jeff and Tanis' NO FRILLS on Lakeshore collecting donations for the North Bay Food Bank.

Wednesday night from 5pm to 9pm local high school students from École Secondaire Algonquin, West Ferris Secondary School, Widdifield Secondary School, St. Joseph Scollard Hall and Ecole Publique Secondaire Odyssée will be going door to door collecting food for this drive. Thursday, October 25th, we'll head to Mike & Lori's NO FRILLS on Mckeown from 6am to 6pm to do the same thing. Listeners can show their support by making a non-perishable food donation while we're live on location.

EZ Rock invites the public to join them live, Thursday, October 25th at Mike & Lori's NO FRILLS on Mckeown, from 5:45pm to 6pm as we wrap up our Fall Food Drive with a grand total of how many pounds of food were collected.
