Air Canada is cutting down from four flights a day to North Bay to only three.

Isabelle Arthur, Air Canada Senior Manager of Media Relations confirmed the change that will take place near the end of September in an email to Rogers Radio.

“As of September 28, we will be operating three 50-seat DCH8-300 flights per day [total of 150 seats per day] instead of four 37-seat DH8-1[148 seats per day] a day,” stated Arthur.

“The total number of seats offered remains the same as we will be flying bigger aircraft.”

The flight cutback will be in place around the same time last year when Porter Airlines pulled its service out of Jack Garland Airport due to what Porter felt was not enough consistent passenger demand.
