MISSING PERSON LOCATED The North Bay Police Service would like to thank the media in assisting us in locating a missing person that had been reported yesterday. Danika PINETTE 15 years old was located safe and sound on the 17th of Feb.

MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD The North Bay Police Service would request the assistance of the media and general public in locating a missing 15 year old female. Danika PINETTE 15 years old is described as being 1st Nations, 5’3, 130 lbs.

SUSPICIOUS FIRE On the 14th of Feb. at approximately 4:30 PM the North Bay Fire Department notified the North Bay Police Service in regards to a suspicious fire to a cottage on Dellview Island on Trout Lake.

SCAM A recent complaint by a citizen is that he received an invoice for over $1400. from a company who alleges they represent the “Yellow Pages” with a slight variation of the actual company logo.

CAUTION ADVISORY The North Bay Police Service has recently received two complaints from convenience stores where a man attempted to purchase items over the phone. This man verbally gave a credit card number for $1000.

ATTEMPT ENTRY During the past few weeks several attempts have been made to break into boathouses and the marina office at King’s Landing on the Lake Nipissing waterfront.

ARSON SOLVED On the 8th of Feb. shortly before 11:30 AM it is alleged that two teenage girls attended Chippewa Secondary School washroom and lit some paper towels on fire.

RIDE STATS During the past weekend, officers of the North Bay Police Service were conducting RIDE checks within the area and stopped 188 vehicles.

FRAUD OVER On the 4th of Jan. Det. Cst. Denis Levasseur Fraud coordinator with the North Bay Police Service arrested a male suspect in relation to a fraud complaint our Service had received.

THEFT ON SKI HILL The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the general public that attends any recreational event that has numerous people in attendance.
