YOUNG ANGER On the 28th of Sept. during the evening hours Csts. Joe Whitehead and Doug MacIntosh of the North Bay Police arrested a 16 year old male in relation to allegations of assault.

On the 28th of Sept. during the evening hours Csts. Joe Whitehead and Doug MacIntosh of the North Bay Police arrested a 16 year old male in relation to allegations of assault.
It is alleged that the 16 year old assaulted a young female on two separate occasions, one with a bottle and then once with a knife. The victim did not receive any medical attention for her injuries. At the time of the assaults the young woman was pregnant.
The 16 year old is charged with 2 counts of Assault With a Weapon and 2 counts of Uttering Threats. He is to attend court on the 14th of Oct.

ROBBERY

On the 29th of Sept. shortly after 1 AM a man and a woman were walking on Algonquin Av. between Bloem and Scollard Sts. when they were approached by an unknown male. This male became agitated and grabbed a cart that the couple had, and then threw it on the ground. He then demanded cigarettes and cash from them.
When he was told that they didn’t have any, the man became angrier and grabbed the male victim by the throat, pushed him to the ground and then punched him.
The attacker then stole the victim’s black and white Adidas windbreaker style coat.
He then threatened the couple not to call the police and that he had just gotten out of jail.
He is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’6 to 5’7, medium build, short brown hair, some scruffy facial hair and wore a dark coloured long sleeve shirt, jeans and the stolen Adidas coat in question. He was also seen to have a tattoo on one of his forearms.

FAIL TO REMAIN

On the 28th of Sept. shortly after 7 PM it is alleged that a motorist was travelling on McIntyre St. E. approaching Fisher St. when it was struck by another vehicle that had been travelling beside it.
Both vehicles were stopped but the other motorist left the scene without exchanging any information.
The suspect and his female companion are described as the following:
1-Male white, 50 to 60 years old, 5’7 to 5’10, grey hair and balding
2-female white, 5’6 with dark shoulder length hair.
No description is available for the suspect auto but there should be extensive damage to the vehicles.
